18 अक्टूबर 2000 में स्थापित शहीद स्मृति चेतना, समस्त भारत वर्ष में एक मात्र संस्था जो ब्रिटिश काल में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संघर्ष के गुमनाम, चर्चित बलिदानी वीर, वीरांगनाओ एवं बाल बलिदानियों पर खोज करके उनका साहित्य प्रकाशित करा रही है। केवल प्रकाशित ही नहीं, उस साहित्य को एक शहीद-चित्र प्रदर्शनी (चल-शहीद संग्रालय) का रूप देकर उनकी कुर्बानी, उनकी गौरव गाथा व उनका सन्देश, जन-जन के द्वार तक पहुंचाने का अथक प्रयास कर रही है।
